Iran Claims New Strikes on U.S. Military Sites in Jordan and Bahrain

Iran's military said it launched Arash one-way attack drones at two bases used by U.S. forces early Friday. It claimed fuel tanks, equipment warehouses, large hangars and American personnel housing were targeted at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. The statement also said aircraft hangars, a maintenance hangar and U.S. personnel housing were targeted at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan. The claims described the 24th phase of Operation Saeqe, or Thunderbolt; no independent confirmation of damage from the United States, Bahrain or Jordan was available at publication time.
