Jet Ski Collision in Eilat Moderately Injures 47-Year-Old Man

Two jet skis collided off Hof HaHashmal in Eilat on Friday, injuring two people. Marine Police officers brought the riders to the pier, where emergency crews treated them before evacuation to Yoseftal Medical Center. A 47-year-old man suffered a pelvic injury and was classified in moderate condition in the later police and medical updates; a second person was lightly hurt. Police opened an investigation, collected evidence at the scene and said the marine unit was continuing enforcement across the Gulf of Eilat, including alcohol checks for boat and personal-watercraft operators.

Difference in reporting

Sources factually disagree on the man's initial injury classification: the first News 08 report describes his condition as moderate-to-serious; the police follow-up and Ynet report it as moderate. The remaining facts are uniform: two jet skis collided off Eilat, two people were injured, and responders evacuated them for treatment.
