Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei accused EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas of hypocrisy after she raised human-rights concerns about Iran. In a July 25 post, he alleged that the EU provided logistical and technical support for U.S.-Israeli attacks while refusing to condemn alleged war crimes or express sympathy for Iranian children. Baqaei also alleged that the strikes deliberately targeted civilians and critical national infrastructure. He said the EU had lost credibility and called its position the purest form of hypocrisy.
