U.S. Airstrikes Pause After 13 Consecutive Nights in Iran

U.S. forces did not carry out airstrikes in Iran overnight, ending a run of 13 consecutive nights of attacks, according to a report published Saturday morning. U.S. Central Command said the preceding 13th wave targeted military command centers, drone storage facilities, communication networks, coastal surveillance sites and maritime capabilities. The command said those strikes were intended to reduce Tehran's threat to civilian mariners and commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. The pause follows an expanded campaign against Iranian military and infrastructure targets, while Israel has signaled that it remains prepared to rejoin the conflict if required.
