Berlin Police Link Pride Attack Suspect to Islamist Scene

Berlin police said they identified a suspect in Saturday night's vehicle attack on the city's Christopher Street Day Pride events and linked him to Berlin's Islamist scene. The suspect remained at large early Sunday, with a police spokesman saying the search was proceeding at full speed. Authorities said one person was killed and 16 were injured, including three with life-threatening wounds and eight seriously hurt. Police said they had not yet determined the suspect's motive, the precise sequence of events, or his role in the attack.
