The IDF announced Sunday that a Saturday strike in central Gaza killed Hamam Eid, commander of a UAV cell in Hamas's military wing in the central camps. The military said Eid was responsible for producing unmanned aircraft intended to attack Israeli civilians and IDF troops. It said he previously commanded a drone cell and took part in aerial attack plans against Israeli forces. The IDF added that Eid had recently tried to rebuild Hamas's aerial capabilities in violation of the ceasefire, and said Southern Command forces would continue removing threats while deployed under the agreement.
