Cyber Directorate Warns Fake Israel Post Site Steals Data as Users Type

Israel's National Cyber Directorate warned that a sophisticated phishing site impersonating Israel Post copies a shipment-tracking page and tells visitors a delivery attempt failed, prompting them to confirm or update their address. The site captures personal and credit-card information in real time while it is being typed, so data may be exposed even if the form is never submitted. The directorate advised checking deliveries only through the official Israel Post site or app and avoiding links in unexpected messages. Anyone who entered information should contact their card issuer or bank, block the card if necessary and change exposed passwords.
