Israel Police launched a large nationwide exercise across northern and central Israel as part of operational preparations for emergency response. The force said residents may notice increased movement by security personnel, police vehicles, a helicopter and emergency vehicles on major routes and in several areas. Activity is taking place across the north, the Haifa coastal district and central Israel. Police warned that the exercise may cause localized road closures and temporary changes to traffic arrangements.
