IDF and Police Chiefs Deepen Operational Cooperation

Police Commissioner Insp. Gen. Dani Levy and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held a working meeting to strengthen cooperation between the Israel Police and IDF amid the country's security and operational challenges. They discussed coordination mechanisms, operational interfaces, emergency readiness and preparation for different scenarios. The chiefs agreed to deepen joint work to provide a rapid response to Israelis in routine and emergency conditions. Zamir praised police officers who fought and saved lives on October 7, while Levy called the partnership a significant force multiplier.
