Poll Puts Eisenkot 10 Points Ahead as Likud Rises to 22 Seats

A new national survey puts Gadi Eisenkot 10 percentage points ahead of Benjamin Netanyahu on suitability for prime minister, 48% to 38%, the widest gap since the pollster began comparing them. Eisenkot's Yashar leads the party table with 23 seats, while Likud gains two seats to 22 and the governing bloc remains at 49. A Zionist Home list led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel clears the threshold with four seats, potentially giving the change bloc 61. Lazar Research surveyed 501 Israeli adults on July 29-30; the maximum sampling error was 4.4%.
