Five Hamas Weapons Depots Destroyed in Overnight Gaza Strikes

Israel’s military and Shin Bet said Saturday afternoon that overnight strikes destroyed five Hamas weapons depots across Gaza, newly releasing details of the operation. The sites stored Kalashnikov rifles, explosive devices, anti-tank launchers, ammunition and other military equipment. One depot beside Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah also served as a hideout for Hamas terrorists, according to the joint statement, which cited the site as another example of Hamas embedding military activity in civilian infrastructure. The agencies said the weapons were intended for attacks on IDF troops along the Yellow Line and on Israeli civilians, and that precautions were taken to reduce civilian harm.
