IDF and Shin Bet Dismantle Two Hamas Weapons Depots Inside Gaza Mosques

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of a damaged mosque dome amid collapsed concrete, twisted metal and rubble beneath a cloudy Gaza sky, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

The IDF and Shin Bet said precise strikes in Gaza City's Shati area and Deir al-Balah dismantled two Hamas weapons-storage facilities established inside mosques. The agencies said the depots held dozens of Kalashnikov rifles, magazines and additional military equipment, and accused Hamas of using civilian infrastructure to conceal weapons. Before the strikes, Israeli forces issued advance warnings and used precise munitions and aerial surveillance to mitigate harm to civilians. The IDF said Southern Command troops remain deployed under the ceasefire framework and will act against immediate threats.
