IDF Destroys Hamas Ambush Position Near Kamal Adwan Hospital

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of an aerial view of dense urban blocks, with the large Kamal Adwan Hospital complex in the upper right and a nearby structure highlighted in red in the lower left, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

The IDF said it destroyed a structure in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, that served as a Hamas ambush position and weapons depot. The military said terrorists planned attacks against troops there and were working to rebuild Hamas's capabilities; several terrorists were killed in the strike on Tuesday. The position stood about 50 meters from the Yellow Line, 70 meters from Kamal Adwan Hospital and 170 meters from a school. The IDF said Southern Command forces remain deployed under the agreement and will continue removing immediate threats to troops.
