Board of Peace high representative Nikolay Mladenov held constructive and detailed talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team in Jerusalem on Monday. The board said the meeting addressed the Gaza roadmap and that the goal remained complete weapons decommissioning and a shift from armed rule to civilian governance. Two people familiar with the meeting said Mladenov also pressed Netanyahu to halt Israeli strikes as the board advances the disarmament framework. Israel has raised serious security concerns over the agreement, insisting that Hamas fully surrender its weapons, military infrastructure and tunnels before further withdrawal.
