Cut Found in Kibbutz Zikim Fence, IDF Says No Crossing From Gaza Was Identified

Security forces were scrambled to the Kibbutz Zikim sector in the Gaza-border area early Saturday after the community's security coordinator reported a cut discovered in the fence. The IDF said that no suspects had been located in the area, that it could not be determined when the cut was made, and that troops were continuing sweeps to rule out an unusual incident. Security forces also swept the area for possible infiltrators. The military added that checks of its observation posts indicated that no crossing from the Gaza Strip was known.
