Poll Finds 18% of Israelis Considered Emigrating Since 2024

A poll released Monday found 18% of Israelis had considered emigrating during the previous two years, while one-third knew someone who had left. Twelve percent said the October election result would affect whether they move abroad. Concern split politically: 41% overall were worried about emigration, compared with 46% who were not; almost 60% of opposition voters were concerned, versus 22% of coalition voters. The report also cited Tel Aviv University data showing 90,922 Israelis spent at least three consecutive months abroad in 2025, part of 268,930 such departures recorded across 2023-2025.
