Former AM:PM chief executive Shirel Hogeg has joined Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party and will lead its program to improve government efficiency for citizens. The Ofakim-born entrepreneur and social activist is expected to develop proposals for better decision-making and the use of management, innovation and entrepreneurship tools in public systems. Hogeg has also advocated for a state commission of inquiry into the failures surrounding Hamas's October 7 attack. He said the plan, to be presented in the coming weeks, will seek to bring responsibility, professionalism and execution into government ministries.
