Israel Police's elite Yamam counterterror unit arrested three suspects during a targeted overnight operation in Jenin, according to a report published Thursday. The suspects were described as a dangerous cell allegedly preparing a serious attack in northern Samaria on August 13. The arrests disrupted the alleged plot before it could be carried out, the report said. All three suspects were transferred to Israeli security forces for further interrogation; no names, organizational affiliation, intended target, weapons, injuries or casualties were disclosed.
