Hamas Warns Operatives to Discard Phones as Israeli Targeting Continues

Hamas's internal-security apparatus warned operatives in Gaza to stop using mobile phones as Israeli targeting operations continue. In a message issued through its Al-Hares channel, the apparatus said phones could reveal a user's location, allow calls to be monitored and expose images of the surroundings. It told operatives to discard their devices immediately, avoid social media and increase vigilance so Israel could not select them as its next targets. The warning was accompanied by an illustration of a broken phone being thrown into a trash bin and reflected Hamas's concern over continuing Israeli eliminations in Gaza.
