The IDF Spokesperson said Wednesday that Israeli forces struck two Hamas commanders in the Gaza Strip within less than half an hour. The first strike, in the Nuseirat area of the central Gaza Strip, targeted a platoon commander in Hamas's military wing who the military said infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre. The IDF and the Shin Bet then struck a Hamas commander and additional terrorists operating alongside him in the Daraj-Tuffah area. Southern Command forces remain deployed in accordance with the agreement and will continue acting to remove any immediate threat.
