IDF observation posts detected suspicious movement along Israel's eastern border near Argaman in the Jordan Valley, prompting troops to search the area and block nearby roads. Walla reported that observers saw two suspects cross the border and that large forces, including aircraft, were deployed to locate them. The immediate area was closed while forces worked to determine whether a crossing had occurred. The later report said authorities suspected weapons or drug smuggling, but no arrest, seizure, casualty or all-clear had been reported by the latest verified update.
