U.S. Sanctions Palestine Action and PFLP-Linked Masar Badil

The U.S. Treasury sanctioned Palestine Action and PFLP-linked Masar Badil under counterterrorism authorities, alongside Italy-based Autistici Inventati. Treasury said Palestine Action has supported terrorist acts since July 2020, including break-ins at defense infrastructure and British military sites that injured law-enforcement personnel and caused millions of dollars in damage. It identified Masar Badil as a front for Samidoun, which Washington and Ottawa designated in 2024 as controlled by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. The measures block U.S.-held property and generally bar transactions by U.S. persons.
