Former Mossad Chief Barnea Says Iran Regime Will Fall Under Escalating Pressure

Former Mossad director David "Dadi" Barnea said economic, diplomatic and operational pressure on Iran should intensify until its regime falls, during a Jerusalem municipal award ceremony. He praised President Donald Trump's severe sanctions as correct and welcome but called them only another stage, warning Iran can threaten any country through ballistic missiles, terrorism or nuclear-weapons development. Barnea said Israel's strategic position is far better than before October 7 and that Hezbollah and Hamas no longer retain their former capabilities. Mayor Moshe Lion presented the honor for Barnea's contribution to national security, which Barnea said belonged to all Mossad employees.
