IDF Says Central Gaza Strike Killed Hamas Operative Posing Immediate Threat

The IDF said it killed Hassam Osama Hussein Nasir, an operative in Hamas’s military wing, in a strike in the Deir al-Balah area of central Gaza. According to the military, Nasir had advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and posed an immediate threat. The IDF said the strike used precise munitions and aerial surveillance to mitigate harm to civilians. It added that Southern Command troops remain deployed in the Gaza Strip under the agreement and will continue operating against immediate threats.
