IDF Identifies Hamas and Islamic Jihad Bomb-Planters Killed in Gaza

The IDF identified two operatives killed in separate Gaza strikes after saying both had recently planted explosive devices and advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians. It said Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative Sabhi Hadr Al-Atham Al-Batrihi was struck Sunday in Al-Shati after planting devices against troops. In a separate strike last week, the military killed Ahmad Fuad Khalil Khalas, whom it identified as a Nukhba operative in Hamas’s military wing engaged in similar activity. The IDF said the strikes removed threats posed by systematic ceasefire violations and that precautions included precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
