IDF Kills Armed Terrorist and Arrests Four in Samaria Counterterrorism Sweep

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of several IDF soldiers escorting a detained man along a village street at night, with the nearest soldier seen from behind and the group moving beneath a tree and streetlight, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

IDF troops and Judea and Samaria Border Police, directed by the Shin Bet, carried out an overnight brigade operation in Qabalan, Osarin, Aqraba and Yitma. In Aqraba, the IDF said a terrorist threw a Molotov cocktail and improvised explosive at arriving troops, then was killed by Nahal Reconnaissance soldiers while holding a knife he intended to use against them; no Israeli forces were wounded. Forces arrested four wanted men, including three arms traffickers and a suspect planning an imminent attack. They questioned about 60 wanted persons across 70 locations and found ammunition, a launcher and other military equipment.
