Netanyahu Reserves Ninth Likud Slot for Talik Gvili

Likud announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used his ninth personal reserved place on the party’s Knesset slate for Talik Gvili, mother of Israel Police Master Sgt. Rani Gvili. Rani went to fight on October 7 despite an injury, helped save lives and was killed, after which his body was taken to Gaza. Reports described him as the final Israeli hostage returned from Gaza in Operation Brave Heart. His mother became a prominent advocate for his return and was selected to light an Independence Day torch.
