The IDF said it killed three Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives in separate strikes in northern Gaza on Tuesday and Wednesday. It identified Said As’ad Said Akrim as a Hamas Daraj Tuffah Battalion commander who recently activated explosives and advanced shooting attacks against Israeli troops. The military said Nimer Yasser Nimer Arshi, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad artillery operative, participated in rocket fire toward Israel, while Hamas Shuja’iya Battalion operative Ahmed Bazahat Saleh Shaer recently planted explosives. The IDF said their activity violated the ceasefire and threatened its forces; Southern Command troops remain deployed under the agreement.
