IDF Identifies Hamas Commander Killed in Khan Younis as October 7 Invader

The IDF identified Muhammad Suleiman Bayouk as a commander in Hamas’s military wing who was killed in a Thursday strike in the Khan Younis area. It said Bayouk entered Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre. According to the military, he planted explosive devices across Gaza, advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians, and worked to restore Hamas operational capabilities in violation of the ceasefire. The IDF said Southern Command forces remain deployed under the agreement and will continue acting against immediate threats.
