Satellite Images Show Iran Rapidly Rebuilding Taleghan 2 at Parchin

New Vantor satellite imagery from September 13 shows Iran rapidly reconstructing Taleghan 2 inside the Parchin military complex, according to the Institute for Science and International Security. A tarp now covers the destroyed underground facility while dump trucks, bulldozers, concrete pumps, mixers and cranes are visible around the site. The analysis says concrete caps had already covered bunker-buster penetration holes, with a new apron added on the right and reinforcement completed on the left to provide additional blast protection. Israel struck the facility in October 2024 and again in March 2026; analysts say Iran’s intended future use remains unclear.
