Bambu Lab said it plans to seek post-trial review and appeal after a federal jury in Marshall, Texas, awarded Stratasys about $27.6 million in past damages. The jury found four Bambu defendants willfully infringed four Stratasys patents covering aspects of 3D-printing technology and rejected their invalidity arguments. The verdict followed a week-long trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. It is the first of two infringement cases Stratasys has brought against Bambu Lab; the second does not yet have a trial date.
