Netanyahu Envoy Met Qatari Envoy Day Before PM Denounced Qatar at U.N., Report Says

Michael Eisenberg, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's personal representative for Gaza affairs, met Qatari minister Ali al-Thawadi, the emir's representative, in New York on Wednesday, a Saturday report revealed. The two spoke privately for about half an hour about implementing the Trump plan for Gaza and humanitarian steps Israel has committed to carry out. The meeting followed a Board of Peace session on an initial Gaza reconstruction plan. A day later, in his U.N. General Assembly speech, Netanyahu said Qatar spends billions of dollars funding an industry of lies against Israel and hosts the Hamas terrorists who carried out the October 7 massacre. The Prime Minister's Office did not comment.
