IDF Fires Interceptor in Southern Lebanon; Outcome Under Review

The IDF announced on October 11 that an interceptor had been launched toward a suspicious aerial target detected in southern Lebanon, in the area where Israeli forces are operating. The military said the launch took place a short time before its announcement, which was posted at 7:39 p.m. Israel time. It said the outcome of the interception attempt was still under examination, without confirming that the target had been intercepted. No alerts were activated, in accordance with the military's alert policy.
