Nisan Zaavi Alleges Leaders Sought to Downplay Northern Border Drone Incident

Nisan Zaavi, a northern border resident and Byachad Knesset candidate, alleged in a televised interview that a Russian-made Hezbollah drone entered Israeli territory and then left. He claimed the prime minister and defense minister instructed officials to downplay the incident, and described residents' concern and emergency squads being mobilized without adequate explanations. The interviewers challenged his account, saying they understood the IDF was still examining the incident, including whether the object was an unfamiliar type of drone or similar craft. The drone's identity and the alleged instruction to downplay the incident were not independently confirmed in the report.
