Amazon Talks Reportedly Value Israeli AI Startup Decart at $5.5 Billion

Amazon's advanced talks to acquire Israeli AI startup Decart reportedly envisage a $5.5 billion valuation. A prospective agreement could be signed by the end of October, although no completed transaction has been announced. Decart develops software designed to improve AI-chip performance, including work involving Amazon's Trainium processors. The company reportedly sought to reopen negotiations with Nvidia after acquisition talks with Anthropic fell through, but Nvidia declined to return. Decart did not comment on the sale reports.
