Rocket Software Acquires Israeli Geniez AI in Deal Estimated at Up to $100 Million

Rocket Software has acquired Israeli startup Geniez AI in a transaction estimated at up to $100 million; Rocket did not disclose financial terms. Geniez builds AI agents that operate directly on mainframe computers, intended to help users monitor systems, investigate incidents and run workflows through ordinary-language instructions. The startup has a six-person team, according to reporting on the deal. Rocket said Geniez’s technical leaders and engineers are joining its organization to expand its AI capabilities, including work on the EVA platform. The acquisition brings Geniez’s mainframe technology into Rocket’s software-modernization business.
