CrowdStrike Reportedly in Advanced Talks to Buy Israeli Orion for About $500 Million

CrowdStrike is reportedly in advanced negotiations to acquire Israeli cybersecurity company Orion Security for approximately $500 million. The proposed transaction remains at the negotiation stage. Orion was founded in 2024 by CEO Nitay Milner and CTO Jonathan Kreiner and has offices in Tel Aviv and New York. The company says its platform uses large language models and specialized AI agents to assess the context of data movement and help prevent sensitive information leaving organizations. Orion announced a $32 million financing round in February, bringing its total funding to $38 million.
