Ministry Opens NIS 8.33 Million Stream-Restoration Call for Netivot and Ofakim

The Ministry of Environmental Protection has opened applications for stream-restoration projects in Netivot and Ofakim, with up to NIS 8.33 million available in the initial round. Netivot can seek up to NIS 4.79 million and Ofakim up to NIS 3.54 million, with ministry support covering at most 90% of project costs. Projects must include ecological restoration and monitoring, and may add controlled walking and cycling paths, shaded seating and public access. Applications close on November 15, 2026. The broader 2026–2028 program has a conditional NIS 25 million ceiling; this call does not guarantee grants.
