Israel Police said on October 14 that a minor had been questioned in an investigation into a suspected racially motivated assault at Jaffa Port. The report of violence reached police the previous night, when a person was allegedly attacked while walking with a friend at the port. Officers from Jaffa police station in the Ayalon district opened an investigation and carried out inquiries that led them to locate and question one alleged participant. After questioning, the minor was released under restrictive conditions.
