Southern District prosecutors filed indictments in Be’er Sheva District Court on October 8 against three Negev residents accused of supplying a pistol and ammunition to Ahmad al-Uqbi. He carried out the October 2024 terrorist shooting at the city’s central bus station, killing 19-year-old Border Police officer Shira Haya Suslik and injuring others. Investigators allege the defendants knew he might intend to carry out a terrorist attack. The charges include weapons and ammunition offenses and providing means for a terrorist act. A joint Shin Bet and Southern District Police investigation preceded the indictments.
