IDF Discloses Killing October 7 Hamas Commander and Islamic Jihad Operative

The IDF said Friday that airstrikes on Thursday killed a Hamas weapons-production commander in northern Gaza and a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative near Khan Younis. It identified the Hamas commander as Muhammad Muhammad Abd al-Khaliq Halla and said he entered Israel during the October 7 massacre. The military said Halla helped produce weapons and strengthen Hamas’s capabilities across Gaza, and named the Islamic Jihad operative as Ahmad Jibrin Tawfiq Dalhan. According to the IDF, both had recently planned attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and worked to rebuild their organizations’ capabilities in violation of the ceasefire.
