The IDF said on Sunday evening that it had killed Saqr Nabil Musa Qaisi in the Khan Younis area of Gaza, identifying him as a Hamas Nukhba operative who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre. It said Qaisi also directed Deniz Feneri, a Turkish organization presenting itself as a humanitarian aid charity. The military alleged that he employed terrorists and financed Hamas operatives, and that the organization and senior figures raised funds for Hamas. The IDF said Qaisi had recently advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and worked to rebuild Hamas capabilities in violation of the ceasefire.
