IDF Says It Killed Two Terrorists Who Moved Iranian and Turkish Funds to Hamas

The IDF and Shin Bet said on October 25 that separate strikes last week killed two operatives who transferred millions of shekels from Iran and Turkey to Hamas. They identified them as Hamas cell commander Alaa Ibrahim Nimer Arshi, killed near Gaza City on Wednesday, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative Karam Riyad Hassan Abu Butaihan, killed near Nuseirat on Tuesday. According to the joint statement, the funds supported Hamas’s military rebuilding and plans to attack Israeli troops and civilians. The agencies also disclosed Thursday’s destruction of a Hamas weapons store in central Gaza containing rifles, a launcher and rockets.
