Palestine Action Claims Manhattan Bank Vandalism as NYPD Investigates

Palestine Action has claimed responsibility for vandalizing a Capital One branch on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, linking the attack to the bank’s lending relationship with Israeli defense manufacturer Elbit Systems. The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating after a brick broke a window and red graffiti referred to Palestine Action and Elbit. The incident occurred Monday morning at East 86th Street near Second Avenue. No injuries were reported, and police said no arrests had been made as of Monday.
