IDF Announces Northern and Central Israel Defense Drill for October 25–26

The IDF announced a military exercise across northern and central Israel on October 25–26, with increased movement of security forces and aircraft. The Air Force and the 210th, Judea and Samaria, 98th and 96th divisions will participate. Training will rehearse multi-front border defense, a surprise attack, and airborne and ground infiltration into Israeli territory, including protecting communities and using air capabilities for regional defense. The exercise incorporates wartime lessons and forms part of the Operations Directorate’s 2026 training calendar. The IDF reassured residents that the planned activity does not indicate a security incident.
