Mind-IL Expects 5,500 Academics at Israeli Research Conferences

Mind-IL says approximately 5,500 academics are expected at 59 research conferences in Israel, including about 2,000 who normally live abroad. The initiative directly coordinates logistics for 36 conferences; the others organize independently while participating under its umbrella. Led by Prof. Kinneret Teodorescu of the Technion's Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences, the initiative aims to strengthen connections between Israeli researchers and institutions at home and overseas. Conference subjects include computer science, decision research, developmental biology and stem cells, with individual academic teams leading the separate gatherings.
