Israel Innovation Authority Urges Targeted Quantum Investment and Global Partnerships

Israel's Innovation Authority and C4IR Israel published a quantum-technology report on Monday recommending investment in fields where the country has strategic strengths, alongside international partnerships for complementary capabilities. The report says Israeli quantum companies raised nearly $500 million in 2025, about 9% of global private investment in the field. It identifies software, algorithms and control systems among Israel's strengths, while noting dependence on foreign suppliers for specialized materials and advanced hardware. For a proposed 2027–2031 second phase of the national program, it recommends expanded infrastructure, research training and civilian-sector pilots.
