Yohananof Expands Kirkland Imports to 25 Food and Household Products

Yohananof plans to expand its Kirkland range to 25 food and household products, with the broader assortment due to reach its Israeli branches this week. The supermarket chain is moving beyond a pilot launched at the beginning of 2026, which involved four household products. Kirkland is Costco’s private label, already sold in Israel by Osher Ad. The initial Yohananof trial covered toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning cloths and rubbish bags. The planned food selection includes oat drink, protein snacks, popcorn, chocolate-covered nuts, spices, fruit-purée pouches and almond flour. Additional household lines include cling film, laundry gel, scent beads, dryer sheets and stain-removal spray. CEO and controlling shareholder Eitan Yohananof said the chain is adding food products after the household trial. “When there is more competition, the consumer is the main beneficiary,” he said. Yohananof also has its own private label and buys Kirkland products wholesale. Deputy CEO Elad Harazi said the arrangement is not exclusive. Harazi attributed price reductions of 30%–40% on some existing Kirkland products to competition following the pilot. He cited items previously costing NIS 119 that fell to NIS 79–89, and laundry scent beads dropping from NIS 79 to NIS 59.
