IDF and Shin Bet Disclose Killing Four Hamas Operatives in Southern Gaza

The IDF and Shin Bet announced on October 30 that four Hamas military-wing operatives had been killed in two airstrikes in southern Gaza on Wednesday, October 28. The joint statement identified one of those killed as a Hamas commander and another as a member of the group's Nukhba force. According to the statement, the strike in Khan Younis killed Nukhba operative Muhammad Alian Biyuk. A separate strike in Rafah killed Hamas commander Hammam Jabr al-Sayed Abu Labda, along with operatives Mahmoud Abu Naama and Muhammad Hamad Shariki Sultan. The disclosure named all four men and placed the two operations in different parts of southern Gaza. The security agencies said the men had advanced terrorist attacks against Israeli troops and civilians during the war, particularly in the recent period. They also accused the operatives of working to rebuild Hamas's capabilities while systematically violating the ceasefire. The agencies described the strikes as action intended to remove the threat posed by the men. The statement said forces under Southern Command remained deployed in accordance with the agreement. It added that the security forces “will continue to act to remove any threat,” setting out their stated posture after the two operations.
