Or Yehuda Plans AI Driving Simulator Sessions After School Road-Safety Week

Or Yehuda plans to hold artificial intelligence based driving simulator sessions for Yuvalim High School pupils this week, following the city's school road-safety week. The upcoming sessions were described on November 8 as the next part of the municipal education program. An exact date for the simulator activities was not given. The simulator is intended to illustrate the importance of attention, responsibility and caution while driving. The broader school program was led by Sonia Saada, who heads the road-safety unit in the municipal education department. During the preceding week, pupils took part in active breaks, instruction and demonstrations with Israel Police officers. At Ehud Manor School, the week opened with the renewal of the "Kiss and Ride" project, which organizes pupil drop-offs near schools. Pupils also reviewed road rules and passed messages to their parents about careful driving, lower speeds and awareness of pedestrians. The activities addressed both individual conduct and responsibility in public spaces shared with others. Mayor Liat Shohat said, "Road safety education is an inseparable part of our responsibility to protect residents' lives." She said the city invests in habits from an early age because those lessons accompany children later in life. The simulator sessions at Yuvalim are the stated continuation of that educational work.
